Volunteer indoors or outdoors alongside our horticulturists to support the care and upkeep of our landscape. Tasks vary by session and may include weeding\, mulching\, watering\, and more. \nGround Force Sessions: \n\n\nThrough October: Thursdays & Saturdays\, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM \n\n\nStarting in November: Thursdays & Saturdays\, 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM \n\n\nWhat to Bring & Wear: \n\n\nLong pants\, long socks\, and sturdy closed-toe shoes \n\n\nInsect repellent\, sunscreen\, and a refillable water bottle \n\n\nRain gear if light rain is expected—we work in drizzle! \n\n\nRegistration is required to receive updates in case of cancellations or schedule changes. Please register at least 24 hours before each session. \nWe will supply gloves as well as all other tools and materials. For your safety\, all tools and gloves are washed and sanitized. DESCRIPTION:(all ages) \n\n\nEnjoy a Free Guided Tour of the Arboretum\n\n\n\n\nFree guided tours of the Arboretum are offered most Saturdays at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm\, from April 19 through October 18. \n\n\n\n\nTours begin at the Visitors Center. No reservations are required and tours are on a first-come\, first-served basis for individuals who would like to learn more about the current season’s highlights. Limit of 7 people per tour. Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult. No groups. Tours last approximately 30-45 minutes. \nSaturday Garden Tours may be suspended on days with excessive heat. We apologize for any inconvenience.
