Wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. You will be hiking with a park naturalist! The hike will be on sand for approximately 2-4 miles long. Be prepared to hike in the cold for up to 2 hours! Bring drinking water! Wear proper clothing and footwear for a walk alongside the water in the winter. Meet at Field 2 near the Golf course walkway on the west side of the parking lot.  \nBE AWARE: There are no restrooms in Field 2! The restroom in Field 5 and Captree State Park will be open for use\, so please use the restrooms there before the start of the hike.  \nIf this event fills up there is another event page for this very same hike! \nFamily programs are recommended for children 6 and up! This is a free event! There is no parking fee in effect! \nBring binoculars! \nSpace is very limited for this hike! Please reserve a ticket for every member of your party!
