Thomas The Tank Engine™ chugs into Thomaston, Connecticut, for the Day Out With Thomas™ 2008: The Great Discovery Tour, August 1, 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10 from 8:30am until 5pm. The event takes place at The Railroad Museum of New England’s Thomaston Station in Thomaston, Connecticut. This fun-filled family event is sure to deliver miles of smiles for aspiring young engineers, parents, grandparents and siblings. Guests will enjoy a 25-minute (approximate) real train ride in vintage coaches with Thomas The Tank Engine departing from the historic Thomaston Train Station. A variety of Thomas and Friends™ themed activities will be available including: meet and greet with Sir Topham Hatt, Thomas and Friends storytelling and video viewing, temporary tattoos of Island of Sodor friends, live children’s music and an Imagination Station with arts, crafts and much more. This Day Out With Thomas event is expected to sell out again this year, so advance ticket purchase is recommended to ensure a choice of dates and train times. Tickets are $18 for ages two and up.
