With deep roots in real-world exploration, this company’s sole purpose is to provide authentic experiences and unique opportunities for kids to learn about the amazing world in which we live. Wild Blue’s founder, Kourosh Mahboubian, is a renowned underwater expert and fellow of the famed Explorers Club. He and his team of veteran explorers and educators offer after school enrichment programs for children ages 3 through 10 as well as family-oriented adventure travel outfitting. Weekly classes and weekend events are ongoing at Wild Blue’s Upper East Side location. The course list includes sessions focusing on world cultures, arts and music, storytelling, photography, documentary filmmaking, natural history and adventure sports— even skateboarding! Most classes run for a full school semester. Wild Blue also features many fun, family-inclusive, drop-in special events that immerse participants in the geographic, cultural and scientific aspects of our planet.
