Wee Care Child Care offers a wealth of enriching and fun programs for children ages 6 weeks-5 years. In Wee Care’s nurturing environment, children are given the opportunity to partake in a number of age-appropriate activities, including tennis, storytelling, singing, dance and art. Wee Care’s students develop an early love of reading with trips to local libraries and bookstores for story time. When the weather permits, students are welcome to romp around the school’s outdoor playground and local parks, and when winter weather strikes, the caring staff leads children to a nearby indoor play space. Fifteen teachers work on staff, and all are certified by the Board of Health and trained in CPR. A different teacher leads each age group with the assistance of a teaching aid, and the staff is always on hand to supervise children as they learn by interacting with their environment through play. Children begin each day with a morning meeting, followed by varying activities, snack time, a mini lesson, lunch, nap time and more. Wee Care provides two daily snacks for children, both accompanied by fruit, and each class has a weekly pizza party. Students leave Wee Care ready to begin kindergarten with a strong appreciation of themselves and others, developed through sharing and working together with fellow students. Wee Care is open weekdays from 8am-6pm, with the options of a full-day session from 9am-3:30pm, and an extended-day session from 8am-6pm for parents’ convenience.
