The Torrie Marie’s School of Dance intends to fully educate young, adult and experienced dancers in a well-based knowledge of their chosen craft. Torrie Marie’s School of Dance caters to people of all abilities, from beginners to dancers with advanced technique. TMSD firmly believes that in order to achieve the rewards of dancing, it should be a pleasant learning environment in a modern, friendly atmosphere. As dance educators, the staff at TMSD intends to provide a thriving, nurturing, relaxed and professional classroom atmosphere. At TMSD, dancers of all shapes, sizes and body types are welcome. TMSD encourages people of all learning styles to experience the joy of dancing in a relaxed setting. The classically based school operates from early September until the recital in June, which allows all of the dancers to obtain the most of their dance education with classes in: creative movement, pre-ballet, ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip-hop and modern. TMSD also offers adult day and evening classes, along with private lessons (upon request). TMSD is dedicated to having fun and helping people meet all of their dancing goals, whether professionally or for recreational purposes. At TMSD, students are taught the art of dancing at their own pace. This allows everyone to attain their own personal goals and triumphs. The primary purpose of TMSD is to help the individual student develop talent, inspiration, creativity and dedication and turn grace and style into significant potential for the betterment and development of the dance culture in its multiple dimensions.
