Spanish Immersion Workshop is Long Island’s leading Spanish program for children. Giving your children a huge developmental advantage is now fun and easy with SIW. See your children singing and clapping along with Spanish songs and hear them speaking Spanish— even in the very first class! Children will acquire Spanish naturally through meaningful playful interaction and entertaining full immersion (English translations are not used in class). Led by native Spanish-speaking teachers, the thematic based curriculum and classes are specifically designed for children ages 1 to 8 years old. Music, games, crafts, storytelling, "snack-tivies" and movement are among the activities that are used at every level. Each student receives his or her own class music CD to keep; loaded with all the songs being used in class, it’s an easy and fun way to reinforce the class material at home. In addition, older students also get access to the SIW interactive audio website! Classes run 45 minutes for younger students (1-3), one hour for older students and two hours for the enrichment program, once or twice per week. Classes are offered all year round.
