The Pulse Performing Arts Studio is entering its third year of business with a continued commitment to setting the gold standard in dance. A new theater space enhances The Pulse’s offerings in drama and voice. There are exciting new classes in disciplines such as lyrical jazz and hip hop, as instructors from New York City bring their vibrant brand of teaching to the students at The Pulse. “Our new classes and programs allow us to reach students at all levels— from the beginning ballerina to the pre-professional actor,” says artistic director Jennifer Dell. The studio has seven performance ensembles in various dance disciplines and two competitive teams. Throughout the year, Master Classes are held with visiting instructors and students can take trips into Manhattan to take classes or see Broadway shows. During school breaks The Pulse offers special programs. This year, the studio introduced its expanded camp program, which allows students to “major” in either dance or theater and then take classes across a wide spectrum. The camp also features swimming at a local pool and a visit into Manhattan. Allow your children’s dreams to come true at The Pulse.
