The Modern School of Soccer teaches soccer in private and public schools around New York City to children ages 3-14. Thanks to its professional coaches, former soccer players and experts in gymnastics, yoga, Swedish stretching and martial arts, they have been able to create a dedicated group of instructors. The school’s instructors will impart the educational techniques of soccer and custom tailor their lessons to meet each child’s specific needs, all while having fun. During the spring and into the mild days of fall (from April to October), lessons are scheduled in neighborhood park. From November to April lessons are scheduled indoor (3 consecutive courses: Fall – Winter & Late Winter/Early Spring) including M-PS 87 (Upper West Side); M-PS 158 (Upper East Side); ABC (Harlem); K-PS 321, The Berkeley Carroll School & K-PS 10 (Park Slope), Arts & Letters (Fort Greene); Brooklyn New School (Cobble Hill); The Union Church of Bay Ridge (Bay Ridge), Q-IS 141 (Astoria), Q-PS 150 (Sunnyside), Rego Park Jewish Center (Rego Park) and Resurrection Lutheran Church (Flushing).
