The C.W. Post School of Continuing Studies offers a ten week program on Saturday mornings from 9am-noon for children in grades Kindergarten-8 every fall and spring semester. Fall classes will run on Saturdays from October 3 through December 12, (no classes will be held November 28). The program offers academic activities in such areas as: computers, math tutoring, problem solving, reading skills and study skills. Two activity periods are offered: 9-10:30am; and 10:30am-noon. Children can choose any two out of the five activities offered, if space is available. Activities are subdivided by grades or skill level. The program limits the number of children admitted, therefore early registration is suggested. All faculty teaching in the program are New York State Certified teachers. An informational meeting and open house for the program will take place on September 12 at 9am in the Humanities Hall on the C.W. Post Campus.
