The Katonah Art Center is a place for people of all ages to explore their creativity in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. Now in its 11th year, Katonah Art Center offers more than 80 classes for ages 2-100. Classes for teens and adults include: Drawing, Painting, Portraiture, Life Drawing, Pottery, Sculpture, Watercolors, Colored Pencil, Classical Oil Painting, Drawing for People Who Think They Can’t Draw, Botanical Art, Photoshop, Children’s Book Illustration and much more. The portfolio development for teens class has helped many students gain admission to the best art schools in the country. Classes for children include: Painting & Drawing, Computer Art, Pottery, Sculpture, Animation, Famous Artists, Cartooning, Mommy & Me and much more. The Center has many exciting workshops such as Fused Glass, Clay Silver Jewelry, Life Drawing, Wax Encaustic, Pottery, Outdoor Painting, Dollmaking, Silkscreen, Beading, Creative Writing and more. Whether the medium is charcoal, clay, paint, stone, computers, fabric or glitter and feathers, entering the art center will open a door to the artist residing in each of us.
