Learning a second language is both educational and fun at The German-American School with four convenient locations: Manhattan, Ridgewood, Franklin Square and Garden City. The school teaches German as a foreign language to children from all backgrounds. No German is necessary to enter the program. In their afterschool enrichment program, children as young as 4 can learn German. Young children are taught by drawing, singing, coloring; children 8 and older work with fun-filled text books. German-American School’s program is unique because it is Regents accredited and graduating pupils can take the NYS State Three Year Comprehensive Regents exam. Instructors are dedicated and experienced; classes are small. Classes meet once a week. German-American School has been teaching German for 114 years.
