Since 1920, Diller-Quaile has been teaching music in a way that develops the innate musicality in each student and inspires participation for a lifetime. Diller-Quaile’s founders believed that the capacity for understanding and creating music exists in everyone. Additionally, they felt that a music school should provide a dynamic and well-rounded experience not just for select students, but for all. The Diller-Quaile faculty nurtures each student’s ability to play and sing with knowledge and expression. Through a coordinated and a comprehensive approach, the school provides a foundation for a lifetime of involvement in music. Diller-Quaile offers Early Childhood Group Classes for children 5 months-7 years; Instrumental and Vocal Individual Lessons with Musicianship, Orchestra, Chorus and Playing Classes; Adult Individuals Lessons and Classes; and Teacher Training/Dalcroze Courses. Engaging and interactive Rug Concerts, Master Classes and Faculty Concerts occur throughout the year. Diller-Quaile enrolls 1,200 students of all ages.
