Connect The Dots Occupational Therapy is a sensory integration clinic that builds upon your child’s strengths to promote further independence in life’s daily activities. With a holistic approach to evaluate children, Connect The Dots understands how occupational therapy can most positively impact their lives. In conjunction with parents, teachers and health practitioners, Connect The Dots helps to determine a treatment plan that addresses the immediate as well as long-term needs of every child. Connect The Dots also offers handwriting classes for children of all ages and abilities. The Handwriting Without Tears program gives your child the extra boost to ensure classroom success. This approach assesses your child’s visual and fine motor skills and body awareness to see which areas may be impacting their handwriting. Pre-K and Kindergarten Print classes include games, songs, use of Play Dough and wood sticks to provide a hands-on learning approach. A cursive class is also offered to eliminate difficulties in legibility, connections and spacing. Karate classes are now also being offered in small groups to help children develop self-confidence, focus, concentration, fitness and control.
