Christian Pre-School has been a part of the Rivertowns for the past 33 years and has become an established program in the community. A “home away from home” with a caring staff and comfortable classrooms describes the school’s environment. Becoming a part of the “community” is an important experience for children. A Christian emphasis encourages your child’s empathy for others and demonstrates the importance of caring for the world God created. Most of the activities are “hands on” involving all of the senses. During the day, your child has a consistent daily schedule in the five classroom areas. As they enter each area, they know just what is expected and what activities will occur in each room. The school’s areas include: Free-Play, Arts and Crafts, Discovery, Music/Story and Gym— which is either inside on “bad weather” days or outside on the spacious playground. During the year, Christian Pre-School plans special events, guests and programs. The school’s children are generally between 2.6-4 years old and can attend two, three or five days a week. The families are an active part of the program and an important connection. Your visit to the school is always welcome...and please bring your child along!
