At Beginning Years Early Childhood Center, 2, 3 and 4-year-old classes learn social, emotional and physical skills in a warm, caring and loving environment. Their educated, professional and nurturing staff members understand child development and what is appropriate for all age levels, allowing them to provide students with activities that strengthen these skills in a developmentally-appropriate program. Specialists meet with the children to offer creative movement, music, animal education and more. Many different concepts are learned at the school through a theme-based curriculum. For example, if students are learning about the seasons, they will hear stories, cook and participate in arts activities to reinforce what they have learned. Their very active parent association plans puppet shows, bookfairs, etc. Beginning Years Early Childhood Center wants the whole family to be involved in the education process, therefore they plan many activities providing opportunities for parents to participate and be involved at school. A Parenting Center with Mommy & Me classes for children under 2 years of age is also available. Beginning Years Early Childhood Center of Temple Beth El introduces Jewish culture, celebrating Shabbat and Jewish holidays through music, art activities, literature and cooking. Holiday celebrations are family-oriented. Beginning Years also offers a Mommy and Me camp as well as a camp for 3 year olds.
