Gymnastics at the Y is truly something to flip over. For 2-4 year olds, Tiny Tumblers and Tumbling Toddlers classes focus on enhancing motor skills, body awareness, strength, flexibility, self-esteem and social interaction. Four-14 year olds also enjoy a variety of gymnastics classes and competitive teams that offer great physical education in a fun, safe, state-of-the-art environment. All 92nd Street Y gymnastics instructors are USA Gymnastics Safety-Certified. For the child who can’t get enough of the water, Aquatics at the 92nd Street Y is second to none. Polliwogs, Minnows and Guppies are classes certified by the American Red Cross for infants and preschoolers. Private and semi-private lessons offer professional one-on-one instruction and great playdate opportunities. There’s competitive coaching and the first-rate Flying Dolphins Swim Team.
