Progressive Dance Studio brings New York quality to Englewood! Now they even have a second location in Cresskill for the convenience of their Northern Valley students! Progressive has always been known for its highly accomplished and professional teaching staff, whose credits range from Broadway shows to the Bolshoi Ballet, MTV awards and more. The schedule at Progressive Dance includes 95 classes a week, ranging from Hip-Hop and Funk Jazz to Theater Dance, Modern, Ballet, Pointe, Tap and Acting Classes for ages 6 to adult. Notable among the many choices offered is the innovative Creative Movement program for 3 and 4 year olds, culminating in their very own show. Adults are also involved at Progressive, with Adult Jazz, Adult Beginner Tap and of course, Hip-Hop. Progressive Dance Studio is designed first and foremost to foster a love of dance by offering a solid dance education and positive learning environment. The goal at Progressive is to instill self-confidence, self-esteem and an appreciation of dance, which children can carry with them throughout their lives. Progressive is also the home of The Progressive Dance Company, a not-for-profit performing company dedicated to excellence in dance and community outreach.
