Pingry
is a coeducational, college preparatory independent day school on two
campuses in northern New Jersey. The school offers an average of 15
students per class, 28 varsity teams, an exceptional fine arts program,
community service requirements for all grades, and 100 percent of graduates
attend college. Founded in 1861 by Dr. John F. Pingry, the school is
nationally recognized for its high academic standards, Honor Code, and
universal concern for each student by the administration, faculty, and
staff. Foreign language begins in first grade, drama and computer instruction
World language begins in Kindergarten. The Upper School (grades 9-12)
offers 20 Advanced Placement courses and comprehensive college counseling
services. Need-based financial aid is available for Kindergarten through
