The NJ Dance Center celebrates dance as a unique and expressive art that inspires the imagination and lifts the spirit. The NJ Dance Center, led by Directors Rosemary Boross and Leah Smith, has a highly credentialed faculty who have danced on Broadway, in dance companies, dance competitions and university dance programs. The faculty works as a team to provide a cohesive program that nurtures each student’s talent, dreams and goals. NJ Dance Center offers a complete curriculum for all students, abilities and aspirations— including 3 years to adult, beginner to professional, for recreation and for the student who seeks a competitive edge. The school offers an extensive list of classes: ballet, jazz, tap, leaps and turns, musical theater, floor barre and conditioning/pilates, technique classes, mommy and me, creative movement, lyrical, hip hop and competition ensembles. The NJ Dance Center is housed in a 3,000-square-foot, air-conditioned facility, featuring two large dance rooms with sprung subfloors and a marley dance floor and a hardwood tap dance floor, 16-foot ceilings, skylights, full-length mirrors, barres and high quality sound systems.
