“Hinder them not” Montessori School is a Christian/Montessori preschool and kindergarten located in Kenilworth. Children are treated with respect and appreciation in this loving, Christian environment. "Hinder them not" supports children in finding their own unique talents, gifts and creativity, and provides an environment where they learn academics such as language arts, math and Spanish. They also learn such interesting subjects as: the Earth and our solar system, the continents, the sea, animals, birds, the four seasons, nature, gardening, science, history, holidays, etc. Two class trips are taken each year, one in October to pick pumpkins and one in June to various exciting places. The children sing a beautiful Christmas concert in December for parents/grandparents and family members and there is a year end ceremony every June where the children perform to show various things they have learned during the year. "Hinder them not's" goals are for each child to gain more confidence in themselves, build high self esteem through accomplishing tasks at their own developmental level, increase their concentration capacities, be at peace with themselves and those around them, and develop self-discipline and self-control.
