German Language School of Morris County’s mission is to teach the German language to students of all ages in accordance with the highest standards of excellence. Students are provided instruction in the oral and written language in all aspects— vocabulary, grammar, literature, current events and traditions— and are encouraged to participate in the German cultural community to advance German cultural awareness among students and their families. The German Language School of Morris County (GLSMC), is the legal, non-profit entity, which operates the school. The Board of the GLSMC is elected from the general membership, which is composed of the parents of minor children. Participation is encouraged and welcomed! Students vary widely in age and come with different language backgrounds, abilities and motivations. The curriculum is designed to accommodate these differences, and the school takes great care to assign students to the classes that will give them the best opportunity for learning.
