Community Nursery School is a licensed preschool that has been dedicated to the development of young children for more than four decades! Sponsored by the Community United Methodist Church of Roselle Park, their goal is to provide each 3 - 5 year old with a loving, caring environment that encourages physical, emotional and intellectual development. The daily schedule includes free play time, arts & crafts, music, stories, group games, snack time learning experiences and even cooking and neighborhood walks. Community Nursery School is also home to a well-equipped outdoor playground. These age and developmentally appropriate activities help with the development of language, thinking and problem solving skills, social competence, large and small muscle skills, self-esteem and positive self-identity. All classes and activities are led by a state-certified group teacher and experienced assistant teachers. A low student/teacher ratio helps to ensure that your child’s first formal school experience will be a positive one. Morning and afternoon classes are available in 2, 3 and 5 day sessions.
