Established in 1979, Calico Cat Nursery School provides activities and experiences for children ages 3-5 to develop socially, emotionally, physically and intellectually. Their caring and dedicated staff of state certified teachers help enforce the School’s philosophy, which is to help each of their students develop a positive attitude toward learning and acquire habits, Christian based values and skills that ensure readiness for school. Through the School’s child-centered and age-appropriate curriculum, students will gain a variety of basic educational tools in the areas of math, science, language development and reading readiness. Children will also get the chance to explore their creative sides through Calico’s art and music program as well as enjoy some physical activity and socializing on the School’s enclosed state certified playground. Calico Cat Nursery School offers 2½ hour morning or afternoon classes 2, 3 or 5 days a week as well as a six week summer program for children ages 4-6.
