The Lighthouse Youth Theatre (LYT) was founded by artistic director John J. Fanelli in 2006. LYT’s mission is to provide the highest quality arts education to the youth of Westchester County and beyond for the purpose of improving self-esteem, building self confidence and creating well-rounded, expressive individuals. Recently the company expanded by opening the Youth Arts Center in Thornwood, which offers classes from acting, singing, dance, music and fine art. LYT also does a fall, winter and spring musical production, which is usually performed at the Tarrytown Music Hall.
