Camp Ridgeway is a fun-filled camp that runs five weeks, from the end of June (June 30) until the end of July (August 1). The camp offers half-day class from 9am to 12pm, half-day class with lunch from 9am to 1pm, as well as early drop-off at 8:30am. The camp is run by an experienced staff of teachers and assistant teachers with help from teen and college-age counselors. The program is held exclusively at Ridgeway Nursery School and Kindergarten and on the beautiful two-acre site with a new beautiful playground. The children are grouped by age with the youngest group finishing a program for 2 year olds, and the oldest group finishing 1st grade. The camp schedule consists of classroom time, playground time, water time (with sprinklers), arts and crafts, fun with food, gym games, stories and songs, science and nature, and music and movement. Camp Ridgeway offers a safe and nurturing environment for the early childhood camper. Mini camp is a two-week program that is offered at Ridgeway Nursery School and Kindergarten. The program is an extension of the nursery school with special theme weeks, a theme room and time in the jumping castle. The camp runs two weeks directly after school ends in early June (June 9-20). Mini camp classes are half-day (9am to 12pm), half-day with lunch (9am to 1pm), full-day (9am to 3pm) and extended-day (8:30am to 3:30pm). The camp is run by Ridgeway’s own staff of teachers and assistant teachers. The entire staff of adults are certified in CPR and first aid.
