Driftwood Day Camp is located on 11 magnificently wooded acres on the highest point in Melville. Small groups and extensive activities make for a fun summer for campers ages 3-15. Driftwood believes children should develop social, recreational and educational skills during the summer on our beautiful campus. Campers enjoy a complete athletic program, archery, arts and crafts, music, rock climbing, euro-bungee, mini-golf, go karts, volleyball, yoga, dance, drama, tennis, soccer as well as special activities and entertainment weekly. For preteens, (ages 11-12) there are overnight trips to Baltimore, MD and Club Getaway, as well as extended day trips to Splish Splash, Broadway Show, major league baseball, as well as other points of interest. Teens, (ages 13-15) will have longer trips to Canada, and to Cape Cod and Pennsylvania. While on campus, all campers enjoy our three heated pool swimming complex, complete with giant pool slides, 5 tennis courts with instruction, a hockey rink, and computer room are other activities for campers to experience during their summer at DDC. Air conditioned mini bus door to door transportation is included in the tuition, and our staff is second to none for their experience in the safety and care of children.
