Staying active is a vital part of every child’s daily routine, and there’s no better place to exercise and have a blast than at Active Kidz! At this 8,400 square foot indoor playground and athletic facility, kids of all ages are challenged, encouraged and rewarded. Sports classes and activities are available for children as young as 6 months up to age 10. All classes are age-appropriate, beginning with Mommy and Me (6-24 months) and continuing through Running Start (ages 2-5), Movin Up (K-1st grade) and Fast Track (grades 1-5). Mommy and Me classes, which last 45 minutes, are perfect for the little ones, and all other classes are 1½ hours and include 1 hour of sports or activities and 30 minutes of supervised play in the 3 level Adventure Maze. Kids under 2 can enjoy the toddler area with soft play slides and tubes while older kids will have a blast in the three level Adventure Maze and the rock climbing room with three walls of 10 foot-high panels. Sports classes in basketball, floor hockey (soft stick and ball), soccer, newcomb, volleyball and fun sports, such as capture the flag and dodgeball, are designed to introduce beginners to sports and work on developing more advanced skills for experienced players. A special Kid Fitness program helps kids work on conditioning, flexibility and all around fitness through fun activities and games.
