Productions Over the Rainbow, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that provides a safe, educational, positive and fun venue for people of all ages. Its staff has more than 20 years of theatrical experience. Productions Over the Rainbow offers a wide variety of programs for all age and ability levels, including acting, singing and dancing workshops taught or supervised by certified teachers. It also provides children’s theatre, educational theatre and Broadway-style productions. All programs are designed to develop performing artists intellectually, socially, emotionally, physically and theatrically. Sign up your child ages 7-16 for the Summer 2008 POTR Kids Triple Threat Theatre Workshop: High School Musical. It is designed to build students’ self-esteem, both socially and on stage. Beginner to advanced levels are welcome. Students engage in singing, dancing and acting lessons, all leading up to the performance. Auditions take place the first week of class, and all students are cast in the show. Classes meet starting July 1, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 10am-2pm. Rehearsals held at The Bates House in Setauket, a fully air-conditioned facility.
