Long Island Voyager’s Day Camp is unique in that it offers your child a full range of specialties as well as a fun-filled day of recreation. It is a co-ed camp that accommodates children entering kindergarten to those age 14. Its goal is to assist in the development of the whole child— educationally, athletically, artistically and socially. Long Island Voyager’s teaches self-respect, courage and responsibility. A caring staff builds upon campers’ self-esteem, self-confidence and character as they move from childhood to adulthood. A wide range of educational activities are offered, as well as sports and swimming. All campers enjoy amazing trips to places such as Splish Splash, Adventure Land, Dave & Busters, Boomers!, Fun Zone, Fire Island, Atlantis Marine World, Imax theatres, New York Mets and Yankees games and more. They participate in bowling, movies, museums, arts and crafts, mini golf, paddle boating, roller skating, and so much more! The camp understands that you want your child to have fun and to learn, but more than that, you want to feel secure that your child’s in a safe and caring environment. It provides a low counselor-to-child ratio, and buses are insured and inspected on a regular basis. The staff is CPR, First Aid, and AED certified. Long Island Voyager’s Day Camp offers door-to-door transportation with an emphasis on recreational and educational activities.
