Brain Quality Performance is dedicated to helping children achieve the potential of their brain-processing ability. The brain’s ability to effectively process sensory information is the foundation for all learning. Children with delays in speech and language and/or problems of attention, focus and memory may be experiencing difficulty in processing sound. For many, their auditory problems are not based on hearing impairment but rather on developmental delays within the brain’s neural network. Research indicates that programs using highly specific auditory sound patterns are able to increase the accuracy of processing auditory information. A reasonably priced and effective program for parents is called The Listening Program®. This is a home-based program using a CD player, headphones and specifically designed sound and music CDs. Those benefitting from The Listening Program® include children with dyslexia, dyspraxia, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, ADD/ADHD, autism, as well as those with generalized learning disabilities. Parents have also noticed improvement in emotional and thought processing, sleep, behavior and reading, spelling and writing skills. The Listening Program® compliments all other intervention and support services. Home visits and monitoring is scheduled at your convenience. Copies of The Listening Program® as featured in Autism/Asperger’s Digest are available.
