Summit Area YMCA Camps provide something for everyone. If you are between the 3 - 17 years old the Y has a summer plans just for you. Your days will be spent exploring nature, running, swimming, doing arts projects or planning and developing leadership skill. You will expand your talents and discover new ones. You will learn the importance of living a healthier life through food and exercise. And to a parent, you can be assured that while your child is finding new ways to have fun, as they are being well cared for by Y staff in a friendly and safe environment. The Summit Y offers traditional, sports and preschooler camp. New in 2007 - The Experience: an arts and humanities enrichment program. If you are between 5 and 10 years old, the Berkeley Heights Y’s Kamper Kids is filled with 9 weeks of fun theme activities. At the Springfield Y, enjoy Camp Anupama (preschoolers), Tiny Trekkers for pre-K - Kindergarten, and new this year, Teeny Tiny Trekkers for age 2.5 - 3 (must be toilet trained). Every child deserves to have summer fun at a YMCA Camp, therefore Y Care Financial Assistance available to families in its service area
