Adventure on your Doorstep! June 23–Aug 29; 10 one-week sessions; transportation from 8 Essex County locations or drop off at camp. This is a truly spectacular place to spend the summer! Campers explore 40 acres of open and wooded land and a breathtaking three-acre lake in West Milford. Activities include: sports, crafts, nature, outdoor survival skills, hiking, archery, recreational swimming, low ropes challenge, drama, boating, and fishing. Every day their certified aquatics staff teach the Y’s Progressive Swim Program. Fridays are Special Event Days, when the camp is magically transformed into a Carnival, Wild West City, Water World, and more! A New Teen Camp and Counselor in Training Program for 13 and 14 year olds are also available! At the Day Camp, they emphasize four values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. The camp’s adventure, learning, and fun provide children with a multitude of opportunities to express their creativity, unleash their boundless energy, learn new skills, and develop meaningful relationships.
