The only Jewish American Camp Association accredited camp in all of Essex County, the Gesher Summer Program is a nurturing environment that welcomes all Jewish children providing a safe, unique, fun filled, Jewish day camp experience. Incorporating modern Orthodox philosophies, campers experience top-rated activities like tennis, swimming, gymnastics, basketball and other sports, alongside such activities as drama, music, dance and cooking. Their enthusiastic and experienced staff is committed to providing an outstanding summer experience by exposing children to a wide variety of athletic, creative, social and cultural activities completely within a Jewish atmosphere that promotes values, skills and an appreciation of our heritage. Located on the beautiful 30-acre campus of the Joseph Kushner Hebrew Academy in Livingston, the entire indoor campus is also at our disposal, including two full size gymnasiums, an indoor hockey rink, cafeteria, a 600+ seat theater-style auditorium with stage and giant movie screen, and countless empty classrooms. With all of this indoor space, even inclement weather can’t keep you from having fun. Outdoor facility includes two full size pools and water slide, playground, four basketball courts, three tennis courts, soccer field, track, softball field, team challenge ropes course, and numerous program bunks. Round-trip door-to-door transportation on seat belted buses with professional drivers, daily kosher hot lunch and snacks, special events and programming are all included in this incredible summer experience.
