The Gerrard Berman Day School Solomon
Schechter of North Jersey, offers 2 year old through 8th grade
students a superior co-curricular, integrated education. This
program affords a balanced and enriched curriculum in both
general and Judaic studies, exposing the students to computer
technology, art, laboratory science, library, physical education
and music, with a dynamic curriculum in Torah studies and
Hebrew language. The school also offers a modified Judaic
track for children without prior knowledge. The school is
affiliated with the Conservative Movement and affirms the
philosophy that emphasizes educating the whole child, stressing
academic excellence and individual attention, while providing
an in-depth Jewish education. The school offers a broad educational
spectrum for 2 year old nursery through 8th graders that includes
meeting the needs of gifted and special needs children. The
school is proud of its early Childhood Program that affords
nursery, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten children the opportunity
to flourish and grow in a caring and loving atmosphere, while
at the same time developing socially, emotionally and intellectually
in the larger environment of an elementary school. The students
in grades K - 8th grade have an opportunity to participate
in extra-curricular activities. Families are invited to visit
the school. Please call Mrs. Sylvia Berger in the admissions
office at (201)337-1111, ext. 208 to schedule a private tour.
