“We look forward to another exciting summer at Camp Kadimah with many exciting trips and special events for all age groups,” promises Arlene Lichtenfield, President of the Bayonne Jewish Community Center. Camp Kadimah, a community camp housed at the JCC, 1050 Kennedy Boulevard in Bayonne, boasts over 64 years of camping excellence. The camp program operates June 25-August 17 with add-on week’s pre-camp, June 18-22 and post-camp August 20-24. Daily hours are 9am-4:30pm with early drop off at 7:30am and late pick-up until 6pm. Camp offers activities for youngsters ages 2-14 with five different divisions assuring age appropriate activities for all. Camp Kadimah provides excellent supervision for its campers. Staff members include certified teachers and experienced child care providers. All campers will participate in daily activities including recreational and instructional swim, crafts, music and sports. Weekly field trips to museums, parks, the theatre and special theme days round out the fun filled activity schedule. Campers entering grades 2 and 3 participate in two overnight programs during the eight-week season. They will have two overnights at the JCC. Campers entering grades 7, 8 and 9 grades will go to Club Getaway in Connecticut, in addition to another 4-night overnight.
