State Certified and licensed by the Division of Youth and Family Services, The Beanstalk Academy has been providing a caring, creative environment where young children can explore, experiment and expand at their own pace since 1984. The stimulating programs provide a wide range of media, such as art experiences, math, science, cooking, dramatic play, block building, language development, cognitive growth, music appreciation and outdoor play. The fenced-in outdoor play area features an array of imaginative climbing play equipment, as well as a large sand box, playhouse/slide, swings, ride toys and a shaded picnic area. All classes are led by a degreed Head Teacher and a qualified Assistant Teacher. The Academy staff is made up of a group of dedicated professionals who possess a knowledge of the growth and development process. Classes are offered in full & half-day Pre-school, as well as a full-day Accelerated Kindergarten class. There is a prescreening process before entrance into the Accelerated Kindergarten. Most children leaving their preK class are qualified to move into the private, AK program. The program is designed so that each child can reach his or her full potential and enter first grade with success and confidence.
