Art for Learning has developed seven levels of fabulous, unbelievable and exciting Fashion Programs for 4th to 10th graders. Starting June 23 until August 15, the weekly programs begin at design through retail and marketing, and are complete with terrific trips to the garment district show rooms. There they will meet with fashion designers, marketing and merchandising experts, perfume manufactures. Other ventures include going backstage at Broadway shows to learn about costume design, learning about the modeling industry, attending lectures at FIT and more. Fashion Programs will instruct kids on projects involving design concepts, pattern cutting, sewing, jewelry making, drawing, fabric design, make-up and more. All programs have been created to make life long memories for the children and to expose them to unique concepts and ideas they would never have otherwise experienced.
