Young People’s Day Camp has been “creating childhood memories” for boys and girls ages 5 - 14 since 1973. Currently in its 33rd year, Young People’s Day Camps was founded by licensed teachers; and all Young People’s Day Camps are operated and/or directed by state licensed teachers. Young People’s Day Camps have grown from their roots in the five boroughs of NYC to include Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, Brooklyn, Staten Island and New Jersey. The Camps’ philosophy is based on the desire to “grow” children intellectually, physically and spiritually in a FUN environment. The Programs are packed with activities, including organized sports such as baseball, basketball, soccer and swimming, arts & crafts and weekly field trips to amusement parks, aquariums, zoos, museums and baseball games. Door to door transportation is FREE and each camper receives two camp shirts, tote bag and full insurance.
