CAMP SUMMERSTARS is for children
entering 2nd-4th grade in the fall of 2005 Campers bring a
lunch everyday to Center Grove School in randolph from 7am
- 6pm. Staff are experienced teachers assisted by college
and high school student aides. Staff to child ratio is 1:12
for onsite camp activities and at least 1 staff member for
each 5-8 children on field trips. A variety of activites are
based on the theme of the week. The camp schedule will mix
activites to include: arts & crafts, bowling, swimming,
mini golf, movies, cooking and group games field trips to
Sesame Place, Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, the Philly
Zoo, Shawnee Place, just to name a few!! SUMMERKIDS DAY CAMP
is for children entering Kindergarten or 1st grade in September
2005. Option for full day or morning sessions (7am - 12pm)
held at KinderKids facility in Randolph.Hours are 7am - 6pm.
Staff are experienced teachers & profesional child care
workers, college students and high school students as helpers.
All are Randolph School district employees approved by the
Board of Ed. The staff to student ration will not exceed 1:!5
and more staff will be added for field trips. Typical camp
activites will be offered, plus visits from “Little
Squirt” fire truck, animal presenters, singers and more!!
CAMP DISCOVERY is for kids entering 5th-8th grade in September
of 2005. Camp hours are from 7am-6pm at Randolph Middle School,
Randolph. Ratio is 1:10-15 at camp; 1:6-8 on field trips.
”One of the best things about this camp are the kids
you meet.” Activities are planned specifically for this
age group to include: pizza parties, movies, bbq’s,
bowling, hiking, rafting and science/technology projects with
teachers in fully equipped labs!!
