Offering something for every body, the JCC MetroWest 2006 Summer Camp Family includes an incredible selection of camp opportunities for ages 15 months - Grade 12. In their 3 - 8 week Early Childhood Camps, certified teachers open the world of camping to 15 month - 5 year olds close to home at JCC MetroWest locations. Set in a wooded 35 acre site in Morris County with 3 heated pools and over 30 activity areas, the 4 - 8 week Camp Deeny Riback for children ages 3 ½ - entering grade 10 includes sports, ropes courses, lake site, drama, trips, overnights, cooking, digital photography, Israel Program Center, mountain biking, Nature Center and martial arts. For young campers entering grades 4 - 7, Maccabi Sports Camp at Camp Deeny Riback develops master skills, techniques, game tactics, and teamwork in 4 or 8 week programs that include baseball, soccer, and basketball, as well as special sports guests and trips to sporting events. Older campers entering grades 8 and 9 will have an opportunity to travel to water parks, baseball games, sports competitions, social action, outdoor adventure, beaches, and more in the 4 or 8 week Teen Travel at Camp Deeny Riback. Hands-on experience studying acting, voice, and dance with working professionals are all a part of the 4 or 8 week Triple Threat Theater Camp for 4th - 12th graders, featuring weekly theater trips to NYC and regional houses, as well as on-site visits from some of the most creative forces in theater today. Exploration Camps offer one week programs for grades K-5, including Crazy Cuisine, Crafty Creations, Fantastic Fabrics, Chemical Magic, Dance-o-rama, and Hogwarts 101. Swim champions are made daily from June 19 - August 11 in a variety of Swim Camps for children as young as age 6 to 17. JCC MetroWest Camps also provide an array of Programs for Special Needs for grades K through adult. Unless otherwise indicated, JCC MetroWest Camps are offered at the two JCC MetroWest locations.
