Gymnastics
is the basic training for all sports. No activity helps to develop
the body as well. The main emphasis at Go For The Gold is to
further develop their campers as gymnasts, but the most important
part of any camp experience are the lasting friendships that
are made with other campers. Camp runs from Monday thru Friday
with a part time option (9am-1pm) or full day (9am-4pm). In
addition to using the apparatus, campers will have fun in the
giant inflatables from Cameron the Caterpillar to the Super
Spider Slide!! Plus, kids will enjoy arts & craft time,
sprinkler fun, relay races and other indoor/outdoor activities.
All parents have to do is pack a lunch and a snack for their
young campers and Go For The Gold will do the rest! The Go for
The gold Gymnastics Center of Whippany training and specialty
programs are under the direct supervision of Geri Johnston,
who has been involved in the sport for over 30 years. She has
served the gymnastics community in many capacities from Advisor
to spokesperson to skill evaluator. In addition, Go For The
Gold also offers a special option to get a group of family or
friends together for a week designed just for your group. This
serves as a great opportunity for a first time camp experience.
