What
better way to score a hole in one with your child this summer
than with an unforgettable summer with The David Glenz Golf
Academy at the Clubhouse Golf Center! This is the newest location
for the DGGA and consists of an impressive indoor and outdoor
facility and in addition to the main golf center, offers a pro
shop, training facility, miniature golf and a tasty grill. David
Glenz, a 6-time New Jersey PGA Player of the Year and author
of the video, “Mastering the Consistency In Your Golf
Swing,” was named to Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Teachers
list. David has also hand-picked and personally trained each
member of his staff, all of whom average between 4 and 10 years
experience as certified academy instructors. The Center’s
Junior Golf School is designed for students ages 12 and up,
with some golf experience.The Director of Instruction along
with the Head Instructor will build a solid atmosphere for your
child to learn. Daily instruction covers developing a routine
grip, setup, putting, chipping, bunker, full swing and routine.
The program will run from July 12 to August 26 and students
may choose the week depending on availability. Classes are held
from 9am to 3pm, four days a week, and the program includes
use of the golf range, lunch and a personal video. The Center
also offers an exciting, educational and fully interactive “4-Day
Junior Summer Golf Camp”. This the perfect way for children
to have some fun in the sun and get an introduction to the world
of golf. Specially designed for young participants ages 6 and
up, this hands-on summer camp program will get each child familiar
with the fundamentals of the game. A trained golf pro will lead
campers through daily sessions that explore grip, setup, short
game, full swing, etiquette and rules, all in a relaxed atmosphere
where campers will have fun as they learn the game and will
even receive daily prizes for outstanding performance. Junior
Summer Golf Camp sessions run throughout July and August. Choose
from morning and afternoon sessions to accommodate your family’s
hectic schedule. To make their stay even more enjoyable, The
Clubhouse will provide each camper with clubs, balls, miniature
golf passes and instructional literature. Families are also
welcome to ask about The Clubhouse’s regular schedule
of programs and their fun-filled birthday party celebrations.
