Celebrate your kid’s special day at the DR2 Kids Theatre and Birthday Party Space! The perfect all-in-one solution for your kid’s fabulous birthday party comes together at the DR2 Kids Theatre, right in Union Square. From September 20 through December 7, the festivities begin every Saturday and Sunday at 11am or 1pm with one of the DR2 Kids Theatre’s weekend family shows: Gustafer Yellowgold’s Mellow Sensation, Moey Live: P is for Party or Tales of Custard the Dragon. These one-hour performances are perfect for little ones ages 2 to 8. After the show, the birthday party space downstairs at the D-Lounge is yours for another hour. Cast members can be available to sing a song for the birthday boy or girl and sign autographs for the whole gang. Beginning November 14 through January 25, you can also choose from a full schedule of performances of Dear Edwina, a musical comedy for kids from the writers of Junie B. Jones: The Musical.
