Deb and Brian Hopkins have owned a fleet of six ice cream trucks for almost 20 years, all carrying Good Humor, Häagen-Dazs and Ben & Jerry’s, as well as drinks and candy. Deb and Brian’s trucks service Northern Westchester and Southern Putnam. The A La Mode Ice Cream, Inc., trucks drive through neighborhoods, as well as attend birthday parties, corporate events, sporting events, school events, and bar or bat mitzvahs. Individuals can call to make arrangements. Deb and Brian also provide ice cream service to many local camps (anything from everyday food, drink and ice cream service, to once-a-week ice cream days at different camps). The polite, well-trained staff consists of many employees who have been with A La Mode, Inc., for several years. In addition to A La Mode, Inc., Deb and Brian also own King Kone on route 100 in Somers, which has been serving old fashioned soft serve custard since 1954 and is now offering a complete food menu.
